Newsletters

Our school newsletter contains valuable information with dates, rosters, functions, and educational views that we consider important to the whole school community.

The newsletter is available fortnightly on Tuesday, in an electronic format. Newsletters are emailed to all families so that you can remain up-to-date with all important information.

Transfers

If, for whatever reason, your child is leaving St Clare’s, a Certificate of Transfer can be obtained from the office. Ample notice of the intention to transfer is requested so that teachers can provide an up-to-date report on your child’s progress for presentation to the next school.

Family records – maintaining up-to-date information

To maintain up-to-date records, we ask that you notify the school of any change in family situation, address, telephone number, children’s health etc.   Information on this file is regarded by the school as confidential and is essential to the wellbeing and safety of every child.

School Assembly

An assembly is held every Friday at 8.40am. Parents are welcome to attend this assembly. The format assembly follows will usually be as follows:

  • Acknowledgement of Country
  • Prayer Item
  • Birthdays
  • Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Awards
  • GETO (Great Example to Others) Awards
  • Principal’s messages
  • Teachers’ messages
  • National Anthem

Student Absenteeism

The school office is to be notified by a phone call, email or Skoolbag/parent portal notification if a student is absent or going to be absent from school. Parents may leave a phone message (option 2) by phoning the school on 4065 9550.

Consistent absenteeism will be followed up by the Principal.

Notification of a Student Absence

Should a student will be away for longer than two days a Notification of Absence Form is required and must be handed in to the office as soon as possible.
