Halfway point of the school year

With a well deserved break for staff and students just around the corner, it is hard to believe we are halfway through the 2023 school year.

We were extremely lucky to have been able to complete all events in the 2023 Athletics Carnival last week. I am so very proud of each and every student, the sportsmanship and effort on display was superb. Well done St. Clare’s students on making the Carnival very special. Thank you very much to all staff for doing the ‘extra’ to ensure we could cover all events in a very rainy week. Special mentions to Mrs Mason for organising the day and Mrs Vipiana and her crew for making sure we all got our delicious tuckshop. Thank you to all the parents that were able to attend, cheer, help out with events and move tents around – you are amazing!

The P&F are responsible for purchasing our fantastic new shade tents, they looked great on Thursday and we look forward to using them for many years to come. The P&F have also purchased some more large mats for students to sit on, unfortunately they did not arrive in time for this carnival. We have taken delivery,  also courtesy of the P&F, of two chair trollies. These trollies are able to move ten chairs at a time, which will help enormously when we set up for events such as the fete. Thank you to all of our parents for all that you do to support students.

Check out the photos from our Athletics Carnival on our Facebook page.
